celebrating 25

While we were at the beach, I celebrated my 25th birthday. Can't believe the big 2 5 has rolled around but I've never enjoyed a birthday as much as this one. I think the pictures will explain it all.

We went to the beach with Daniel's parents for Lily's first vacation for a week. She loved it and so did we. We went to Holden Beach, NC. It's a very quiet place but nice with awesome houses. We had fantastic weather and a fantastic time. Enjoy the pictures.

6 months

I can not believe it has already been 6 months since Lily was born. Time is flying by too fast. The next thing I know, she'll be graduating college. I really understand now why parents wish time would slow down. She is learning so much  and making sure she takes in everything.

Her 6th month check up went very well except for the 2 shots but she was a champ.

I am a little late posting pictures of Easter but it's better late than never right? We had a good Easter. Lily was darling in her dress, loved her Easter basket, and I had a blast dying eggs.

spring = yard work

Daniel and I decided to do some yard work. We planted some vegetables and flowers and put out rubber mulch which hopefully will keep critters away.

Anyways, while I was cleaning the patio up and Daniel was laying mulch, a visitor decided he wanted to come out and see what was going on. A 3 or 4 foot Garter Snake poked his head out from under the air condition unit and got stuck in a garden rake and of course I said a bad word and Daniel ended up cutting him in the middle. I'm still freaking out and the snake's top half slithered under a flower and finally Daniel cut his head off. Daniel picked up the snake and laid it on the patio and a frog fell out of its belly. Eww, gross.

5 months

Since Lily has turned 4 months, she is able to eat cereal now. Of course, we had the camera ready and her face was priceless.

this little piggy went to the market

I was getting ready and heard smacking so I walked to our bed and found Lily smacking on her toes. For weeks, she has been holding her feet but finally found out she has toes and they automatically go in her mouth. During play time, diaper change, clothes change, and even during bath time. She is so flexible so maybe she will be a gymnast or cheerleader, my fingers are crossed.
